I haven't listened to the interview yet bc I'm at work but it sounds like she has to continue to emphasis to make a point.
It is widely known that most females in rap didn't really write their own rhymes...missy did, eve did. Salt n pepa waited until their last hit album so they didn't benefit early with megahits like push it... Foxy erm??? Kim didn't and bought her publishing in 2008 over a decade after her songs were out of heavy rotation.
