If she released BTW at the start of a chart tracking week, rather than right at the end, AKB48 wouldn't have been able to touch her record. They basically had points only from sales, whereas Gaga sold 1 million in 5 days and had substantial airplay points too...

Hype is a good thing... Hype is NEVER EVER, EVER, ****ING EVER a bad thing. How does hype ruin someone? Sure its ammunition for haters if she doesn't live up to the hype, but who really gives a **** about some 12 year olds running around saying she didn't live up to the hype?
