When I Look At You is truly a masterpiece! Can't believe it went platinum! It peaked at a healthy #16 on the Billboard Hot 100! Top 20 hit and not even sent to radio!

Party In The U.S.A. is SO massive!!! Too bad it peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to The Black Eyed Peas' godly domination that year...

Btw, can you find the sales for Can't Be Tamed (the single)? I know it probably is closing in on platinum... I think it might be around 900,000 something... please and thank you

854,689 - cyrus*miley can't be tamed

881,598 - cyrus*miley when i look at you

So in a year, When I Look At You crossed platinum. I wonder if Can't Be Tamed is close to platinum or not...

Miley Cyrus 'to play Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City prequel series'

Teen star Miley has admitted that she is keen to take up the role of Carrie, who was immortalised in the original Sex And The City series and the subsequent movies by Sarah Jessica Parker.

Cyrus, who at 19 is 27 years younger than Parker, says she is keen to play Carrie in the upcoming prequel series, titled The Carrie Diaries.

'I'd love it,' Miley told The Sun. 'I'm not attached [to the project], so I don't want to say that, but that would be very cool.'

The Carrie Diaries is set to be aired by US TV Network CW, which also makes Gossip Girl, and will follow original Sex And The City girls Carrie and Samantha Jones in their earlier years.

The final two members of the SATC foursome, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes - played by Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon - won't be featuring in the weekly series, as they don't appear in the prequel books by Candace Bushnell.

The original Sex And The City series ran from 1998-2004 and having been a phenomenal success in numerous countries, still airs in syndication worldwide.

The new series is set to look at Carrie's life in her final year of high school and during her early years working as a writer in 1980s New York.

Emma Roberts and Chloë Moretz are also rumoured to be in the running for the roles of Carrie and Samantha, the latter of whom was played by Kim Cattrall in the original series.

YASSSS S&TC isn't usually known for good reviews, but they are box office successful right? Hopefully Miley goes for the role and gets at least some good reviews for her improved acting if it has.
