What I don't understand is why LYLALS was never sent for adds to HAC. It doesn't scream HAC hit, but usually if a song is experiencing success on CHR, a HAC adds date follows a month or two after.

That is what bugs me. Like why didn't they give out whatever money they need to send Selena (who has giving them previous hits on radio before) to HAC but are willing to do it for Demi? I know it's probably tied to trying to make Demi bigger but it still sucks that Selena didn't get the same treatment. Especially since it could've helped make LYLALS even bigger.

Double platinum means that Hollywood Records pays for a certification for it to be officially labeled a double platinum single. With both being so old now, it's highly unlikely that HR will pay for that certification.

Both songs may, however, pass 2 million sold in the future.

It obviously depends as to where they premiere the music video. I have a hunch that it'll be MTV or E!News. I believe those are enough to push it to top 50.
