This. Forget the HOT AC adds... the song needs to get lot of POP adds at first. She doesnt have a big name to get HOT AC stations... these stations dont like the younger artists.... expect if they reached something with the actual song... like Demi reached top10 with Skyscraper, and Sel reached TOP10 on POP with LYLALS... After they see this success, than they will be spinning the song on their radios too....

With lot of HOT AC adds wont be going anywhere the song, first it will pick up by lot of POP Stations.

KBIG-FM added in last year Skyscraper, so this radio likes Demi. (They never added any Sel's songs)... So by this radio, i see a very realistic adds

WPLJ added just last week LYLALS... it is the first Sel's song....

I agree with you. The HOT AC station in my town plays a lot of...dated music or music that isn't really THAT popular anymore like you said about LYLALS. GYHAB needs to do well on POP stations, the main priority. We shouldn't give up though, today IS the first day. I just don't want to see GYHAB peak at 300 on iTunes.

of course HAC isn't as important as Pop format, but today it got sent for HAC adds so it makes sense that we request hardcore on HAC today, and on pop tomorrow.
