The most ANTICIPATED single of the year and BEST Single of the year belongs to Miss Britney Spears with "Hold It Against Me". Throughout the WHOLE year, I didnt get as excited with any other release, than I did with this single. I remember when it first leaked the day before it was suppse to come out, while I was at work, and I took a break, went to my car and had to listen to it on youtube from my phone and I WAS HOOKED!!! Everything about this song is AMAZING. The face paced verses, the slowed down chorus, that AMAZING BREAKDOWN and Bridge, and the EXPLOSIVE final chorus. Many hated the lyrics, but I love them. Yeah, it's one big old cheesy pick up line, but Britney TOTALLY makes it believable. And of course everyone's favorite part is the breakdown, which takes the song that was already amazing, to the beyond. I love the video. I love the whole concept of the video, the imagary, her past videos playing while she's in the bride dress, the fight, just about EVERYTHING. I would say the only thing that held the video back was the horrible editing job done. If it would have been edited better, I think it would have had a better reception. Great job Britney, on a fantastic Song & Video You never fail to deliever.

I actually like HIAM. It's my second favorite song from this era. I understand why you like it so much, because it's powerful, you feel alive listening to its beats.
What a pity it's grown on me so late. When I first heard it I didn't feel like I do now.
