Yes and no. Being a celebrity, Rihanna needs to realise that people are going to look up to her, especially teens. But that doesn't necessarily mean that Rihanna needs to 'censor' everything she does. I'm trying to reply to this statement "in general" rather than focusing just on her smoking. When it comes to her art, whether it be music or videos, then I don't really have a problem with how Rihanna behaves in them (although I'm starting to get tired of her art just being sex, sex, sex - but that's a different topic). She knows she's a role model, she said so herself when speaking about not going back to Chris. I don't think smoking a blunt (or whatever it was) is going to affect many people's views on her, but as I said in the first statement, she needs to realise she is a role model, whether she likes it or not.
Wise words, sister. I agree. No matter how she sees her role hersrlf there will always be ppl looking after her actions. So she's setting an example like it or not. Being celebrity brings responsibility.
