To redownload "Born to Die" and "Off to the Races" without the original glitches:

1. Delete the "Born to Die" and "Off to the Races" files from iTunes
2. Open the iTunes store
3. On the main page, click on "Purchased" under "Quick Links" on the right side of the screen
4. Find and click on "Lana Del Rey" in the list of artists whose songs you have bought on the left
5. You should see a list of songs you've purchased by Lana. "Born to Die" and "Off to the Races" should have icons next to them indicating you can redownload them. Click the redownload icons.

but wait I bought the Lana Del Rey EP when it was first released to US iTunes and I only got Video Games, Blue Jeans, and 2 remixes of those songs

it's crazy

I underestimated how much selling power she could potentially have. I think what sells her is the fact that she is loved now by both independent label-oriented shoppers and also fans of top 40 music, such as many members of ATRL.
