There were only small changes in the album version, which leads me to believe her changes in MKIA & Stronger were fairly minimal.

As for the AIEW songs, sure its not about stronger, but it got brought up while talking about it and its not like everyone is going to switch over to base for a few posts. Then it came back on topic again. They seriously cannot expect a current/ fairly new album to be going back and forth from Base to Album Thread. I see Base as more for when the end of an era comes you don't fill the thread with off topic randomness. As for a current album its hard to go back and forth when overall they are for the same artist. It would be like having a thread for AIEW, MD, Breakaway, and Thankful and having to go to every one of those threads anything wants to be brought up about them.

Both of these are spot on. I feel that the mods understand that it's hard to separate a current era from past ones, and since this current era is going really strong at the moment most of what we post will in some way be linked to this album.

But the thing with WDKY is that the changes were in fact huge. Both verses, the chorus and the bridge all saw substantial changes and as Kal pointed out, these lyrics really do scream Kelly.

Then again it was still in the works so maybe they just didn't update it with the demo version since they planned on changing it around and changing the title as well?

Exactly, its very easy to go from "Don't Be A Girl About It is such horrible bonus track" and then have someone say " I think the worst bonus track is Tip Of My Tongue tbh" and you can't expect to just go and post in Base and quote the person and reply there. It's stupid.
Base is a great idea for albums coming to an end and eras that are already over. And not having a million anticipation threads that talk about all the past eras.

Questions asking about the release of another past song for comparison's sake is fine, I'm sure. But a couple pages back there were post with just like saying "TDWFA >>>>" and other nonsense that really adds nothing to the Stronger era discussion. And it wasn't just a few post, it was about 3-4 pages of misc, off topic posting. I'm pretty sure the whole point of the base thread was so that I wouldn't come home to find 14 new pages in this thread and only 2 of them actually hold information relevant to this era.

Suck was released January 13, 2009 btw. 2nd Tuesday of January. Stronger will be released on the 3rd Monday.

I actually miss Tedder in Stronger tbh. I think he made some of the best tracks in All I Ever Wanted.

I could just use an epic ballad. The War Is Over is amazing - but the chorus is just a little bit of a let down following a phenomenal bridge.

My only complaint about WDKY is that the chorus is a bit loud after multiple listens. I have said this before, but the choruses from Stronger are the opposite of My December. They pitch way higher and it's taking me a bit to adjust to atm. Especially You Can't Win. I have replaced that version with the demo.

It's a good strategy. I just hope radio picks it up quickly, because Stronger will start falling pretty fast without radio support backing a new single.

Greg Kurstin tracks > Tedder tracks, but I wouldn't have minded having him instead of Toby Gad

And I love the bridges to LMD, WDKY, TWIO, and YLM. All of them are great for different reasons
