It's doing so well, not just for a 6th single, for a single! The fact that it is rivaling lmfaos 2nd and Rihanna's 1st singles and it's a year old is like

According to the dictionary, a ballad is:

"any light, simple song, especially one of sentimental or romantic character, having two or more stanzas all sung to the same melody, or a a sentimental or romantic popular song."

And TOTGA fulfills these requirements.
And plus while it technically has a fast tempo, to me it sounds like a ballad, how she holds out the notes.

First, by all that bpm crap, TOtGA is uptempo.
Second, I said that just because it's sad doesn't makes it a ballad.
I never said ballads were only sad, in fact I said the opposite.
