Her upbeat tracks this era have been pretty excellent when you think about it. Push, WTH, Smile>>>>

You're right, though, that was probably Deryck's worst produced track (including TBDT ones), although he did a great job on EH, NE or Remember When My favorite about Push is the lyrics, and Avril sings pretty good, but maybe too high I wouldn't mind a "2.0"

Part of me always wonders what wouldve happened had Push been a single instead of Smile.
I mostly think it wouldve flopped harder, but maybe that what people really wanted to hear from Avril? Im not sure

Watch Evan have a 2.0 in his sophomore album in 2021.

!!!!!!! I mean, the lyrics aren't some sort of masterpiece or anything, but they aren't basic like "I miss you. I miss you so bad. I don't forget you. Oh, it's so sad."

2021? Ha! Homeboy will be lucky to see a release before the 22nd Century. He's obviously never going to happen. He should just swallow his pride and go back to the closest he'll ever get to success in the industry: being Avril's guitarist, where he belongs. I've had enough of Jim, tbh.

I hope you meant to type him, and not Jim, because I adore the latter.
But I agree with your 100%. The teens already have Simple Plan for their angst fix served with pseudo-witty lyrics by 30 year-olds.

Ew. Just...ew. Jim's a songwriter, though, so I wonder why he and Avril haven't written anything together. Maybe for #5?

Simple Plan are still around? Are they still singing about being grounded and homework and ****? That band, man.

Jim's a great guy. I love her current band.
And they sure are. I gave up all hope this year and deleted them off iTunes at last. Jules has done some growing up since '05.

The only member of her crrent band I like is Rodney. The rest don't even feel like a band. They're all stiff and robotic.

Simple Plan. I don't even remember their last good song.

Yes, I do Hotel Paper ***** on so much, I can't even touch the walls anymore. But I'm pretty sure that, like Evan, she won't have an album out any time soon.

I mean, I'll probably buy West Coast Time, but with the two songs I've heard, I dunno if I'll like it as much as her other material. All You Wanted = I'd Rather Be In Love = Sweet Misery = Drop In The Ocean = Find Your Way Back = Tuesday Morning = Desperately = Where Are You Now = Hotel Paper = It's You = Crazy Ride = Summertime >>>>>>>>>>>> Loud Music >>>>>>>>> Happen To Call.

It's a shame no one stans for Vanessa Carlton. I remember the early '00s, back when Avril, Michelle and Vanessa were the pop triangle.

Yeah, Slipped Away is usually overrated by fans. I mean, it's not a bad song, it's very personal and touching because it was about her grandpa and stuff, but... Push lyrics are pretty good and they are original, at least when it comes to Avril, that's probably what I appreciate most.

I don't stan for her (or Michelle), but I like their music. The album Vanessa released a few time ago is pretty good, and very nice to hear

Ikr? Have you heard 'Rabbits On The Run'? My personal best album of 2011. I swear, Vanessa's albums just get better and better.
LOL we're so off-topic right now.
