Okay, so i don't know if this has been posted or not, but PC World magazine had an article in March I think that mentioned Samantha Mumba was with a new record label, recording a new album for a late 2006/Early 2007 release.... i hope it actually comes through for her this time around.... BY THE WAY...DOES ANYONE HAVE THE UNRELEASED "WOMAN" album? I WOULD SO MUCH LIKE TO HAVE IT If you have it, could you either upload it to your music journal or PM it to me? THANK YOU!!!

had the pleasure of having a drink with the so-called Irish Britney Spears, aka Samantha Mumba.
She sings, she dances, and she acts. In fact, she played the protagonist in the hilarious zombie movie Boy Eats Girl, which played this month at San Francisco's Irish Film Festival. I met her at an informal gathering after the movie aired. Actually, Samantha Mumba is not really like Britney Spears. Her R&B pop is more interesting, and it lacks the ****ty-virgin innuendo.

Right now, Mumba is working on her upcoming album. (You can get her first album, Gotta Tell You, on Apple's iTunes Music Store.) I joked around that she needed a ring tone to market herself in the U.S., where she's pretty much unknown. She said that the subject had already come up at her record label. "What's the world coming to?" she laughed on her way out of the bar.

not all, but some of the songs from her unreleased album were decent.. like Branded With A Kiss, Put Your Money on Me, Can You Deliver, You're My Boo, and Shutting You Down....i liked those..the others were just mediocre...but i can't find them anywhere and i don't want to buy the album off ebay.... so that's why i asked if anyone had it.... i'm starting to have my doubts about this album, seeing what happened to Woman....but who knows for sure....

I actually really enjoyed "Gotta Tell You" and "Come On Over (This Is Our Night)," so I hope her new stuff can gain some popularity as well. As far as this doing well...I am not quite sure yet.

But I will never forgive her label for not releasing "Always Come Back To Your Love" in the U.S. That song would have blown up and would have solidified her career for a bit. After all, it was her biggest international hit, excluding "Gotta Tell You."

hmm...I have never heard of that song. As for her comeback...you could be right...it could be far too late. The general public would have already forgotten about her past work.

She's too late, I would still support her, but not everyone else would. I love "Always come back to your love" One of my favorite tracks by her. It's been like 4 or 5 years since we've heard something from her. A Long Long time.

That would be funny if she came out with a hit album and had a HUGE comeback. More then likely she would hit the US well but alot of people in the Uk are still fond of her. I always enjoyed her music. I had the Women album but my computer crashed.

it's not really late for a comeback, just look at some new artists, they hit it big when they first come out, and if people don't remember Samantha Mumba, they might just view her as a new artist....

since shes irish, she has a huge following in ireland and will defanitly go to number1 in ireland, and probably the uk.

i think she waited to long sadly . I was a big fan "Still am" a big fan, I have her cd. Maybe it she trys again she will be famous again. The radio station here has up'd Gotta Tell You's airplays, I have heard it alot lately.
