Again, the chart is WORLDWIDE. Just because you are conditioned to think America (or whichever country in which you happen to live) represents the worldwide standard doesn't mean that's the case. Yes, I agree those two songs placed unusually by my standards/experiences (that of an American), but the rest of the planet doesn't necessarily agree.

Please open your eyes and look at worldwide peaks. I don't even live in America - I live in New Zealand which has no influence on world markets, but America is one of the largest countries in the world - and sales / airplay tend to correlate across the world. Look at the highest selling albums for example. Run the World failed to have longevity in
any major worldwide segment. RITD was one of the biggest hits worldwide on multiple formats.
