If she and her label keep on focusing more on album sales, I think this may be the right decision; I don't want her to be only an hit-maker who has to release generic **** after generic **** to get people buy her album massively. The Born This Way era has, at least, proved she can get a Multi-Platinum status even with her biggest hit not being one of the most played songs of the year and not hitting 4M in sales. This was HER era, once she finds, in time, the right balance I think no one will stop her. She doesn't want to fade, she worked so hard for it.

If only it was just the fifth single...

If MTN had been a huge smash hit, it likely would have been nominated for SOTY or ROTY at next year's Grammys. But now it stands no chance. Keep thinking hit singles are "generic" and mean nothing.

We have BTW that was 6 weeks at #1 and sold more than 3 million copies..we have TEOG that peaked at #3 and may also go 3 times platinum in the end..and there's Yoü And I which did amazingly for a ballad.

Why are people are looking at Gaga like we were during TF-TFM era. Her pedestal is already decreased. A lot. The flopping singles right now are not "not that bad". It is bad. Gaga needs to play a safe hit before treading to more riskier areas again. And "safe" does not equate to generic. "Safe" in the context of Gaga is still innovative.

Guys imagine she comes back with a huge single club banger at its best reminiscent of her old hits in terms of impact but a new fresh sound all is fine and dandy then e bitch decides to self direct the video again and delivers another 13 minute music video that feels like an eternity with a story no one knows **** about thats my fear i wish she would just stick to what shes good at and leave the rest to the professionals! The music videos have killed this era her viewing power is down to nothing she has a big influx of views first week then boom HAULT. I wish her label would tighten the reigns on her next era

Her singles wouldn't rely on big videos if they were desired by the public to begin with.
