Continuing on from my last post, I truly believe that an artist remains what they are at their peak.

Christina Aguilera (for example) bombed in her last era (no shade, she flopped), but she is still the Christina Agullera we all once knew (Dirrty, etc).

I don't think it honestly matters to an artist like Lady Gaga.
She has her hits, her #1 this era, and her album is selling amazingly - since its release was 6 months ago.

I'm trying not to care that Gaga isn't "as successful" now, but I can't

And honestly, GaGa did good promotion for the song -- Ellen, Grammy Awards Nom. Ceremony, it was played on X-Factor US...but it just seems like the public isn't really here for it.

Both the stans and GaGa+her team did all they could...but ultimately, it's up to the public. All the promotion in the world won't change what the public wants to spend its money on.

That's true I was upset that they didn't do the whole song for the Thanksgiving special But The truth is that she's had huge promo. The Nomination concert did virtually nothing for some odd reason, The video kicked it off. Ellen was ... lol... I wonder if she'll go to PCA.

Especially since it's showing such promise in parts of Europe. Unfortunately, a lot of those radio markets follow the US.
