Yes.. let's - for Gaga's biggest flop ever. Couldn't even go top 30. I partly blame the 14 minutes of ******** in that music video, as well as Gaga's change from fun to way too serious.
That long ass ******** video ruined the song for me. It totally saved You and I because that video was amazeballs, but this was just random sheit. Haus of Gaga flops again.
I hope this serves as a wake-up call for both Gaga and her label. They were way too cocky coming into this era, and obviously felt it was possible to release the "worst" (in comparison) songs from the album, as if no one would become exhausted by mediocrity.As a result she's expended so much of her capital radio wise.
It's unfortunate considering what could have been had they not ********ted around and just release the best songs first, a formula they thought they could rise above. BTW (no matter how successul.. which was only due to hype anyway) was a disappointment and that's what set the overall tone for this era.
The music was ripe for her to slaughter but greed blinded them.
No way. This era have been a disaster since Judas. Not to mention, BTW was just okay considering all that hype she put on it. Even Ke$ha's "WRWWR" sold more when comparing first 20 weeks range.

Gaga's my 3rd fave. I hate to see MTN flop. It's my favorite song along with Judas and You&I
So she only had 3 successful singles this era?
I would say two, Born This Way and The Edge of Glory. You and I made it to the top 10, and it is showing signs of longevity...but I don't think it is anything to write home about. Compared to all the juggernauts released this year, You and I might as well have not even happened. Mediocre at best.
