Blackout wasn't bad -- at least Britney's team tried to give us major promo with the VMA performance. That's the fiercest thing we've had since the comeback.

Everyone knew Britney's mind wasn't in the right place, so the lack of promo/involvement was understandable.

I would say this era was kinda bad b/c Britney was hyped up as "the bitch is back" -- but that most certainly wasn't the case. At least in 07, there was a valid excuse for Britney's shortcomings.

Overall though, a "flop" era for Britney is a smash for 99.9% of the industry -- so w/e. Britney remains flawless and not pressed.
