R&B is dead for the most part -- but when an artist does R&B right, then the community WILL support that artist (i.e. Maxwell, etc...). She's not a sanger though. If "Feedback" had been released by a younger star, it would have been huge, so the fact that it was only a moderate hit was really disheartening.
I guess if she comes back with another song that good, she can be big again. One note, though: I don't see her releasing anything in 2012 anyway. Yeah, it might be a five year break between Discipline and her next album. Which will be refreshing compared to the one-every-two-years method she'd been sticking to, and hopefully it will be worth the wait.
