Can we have an Official Grammy Predictions Thread, or will we take this one?
I think ROTY and SOTY have already been signed, sealed and delivered to "Rolling In The Deep", so thinking otherwise is pointless.
Any ideas for AOTY? Is it still Adele's for the taking? BNA? Thoughts....

I love the BNA line-up. Those you mentioned, if winning, would be amazing, no matter who. Not really feeling Skrillex (did I spell it right?) or The Band Perry, though.

Rap Album is his, either with Watch the Throne or MBDTF.
Rap Song is his, too (AOTL is nommed for SOTY, so it could easily win)
Rap Performance is his as well.
Rap Sung, maybe, but he's also facing Rihanna's WMN?, his biggest competition.
SOTY, no way.
In total, he could win 3-4 Grammys, all in the rap field.

I have this secret feeling, hunch, wishful thinking, call it anyway you want, that Adele is not taking AOTY. Either Foo Fighters or Gaga will. But I am not basing my thought on which album has better songs. If that were the case, other albums wouldn't even be nominated : shade :.
Foo Fighter is the only rock album against 4 pop albums. They could get the anti-pop voting block, along with the country one.

The Foo Fighters have a much better chance at taking AOTY than GaGa does. They have six nominations, are the closest things to vets and are the only non-pop vocal album nominees in the bunch. AOTY is between The Foo Fighters and Adele, IMO.

The Grammy academy has weird rules regarding Best New Artists. They can submit up to three times. So, I might have released seven albums, but if I haven't submitted for anything, I can be considered a new artist. Actually, that is how Shelby Lynne won in 2001.

They know what they're doing. It is like they are engineering an Adele sweep of the Big Three, hence my conspiracy theory of the lack of Bon Iver and Kanye West in AOTY, but it is going to backfire like it did earlier this year (Lady Antebellum).

As much as I am happy for their nominations GaGa and Rihanna ARE NOT getting AOTY nor are they frontrunners for the award. Bruno doesn't have a chance as well. The only one I see being competition for Adele is this category is Wasting Light. With all the pop albums the votes may be split and they may take it home or it could go the other way and it automatically goes to 21.
Adele hands down has ROTY and SOTY on lock as well. Katy doesn't have a chance as usual, but Bruno and Bon Iver could provide some competition for Adele considering Grenade was so huge and Holocene is well received. I don't really see Mumford & Suns or Kanye having a chance for their noms either.
For BNA I think it will go to Bon Iver since they were so well received by the academy and critics this year. The Band Perry may provide competition for them, Nicki and J. Cole will split the votes hence not having a chance at all and I don't think Skrillex has a chance as well either.
