I love the video.

Even though there may have only been 2 or 3 scenes for the actual music part, none of them were boring like TEOG. The only thing that I would change is the car scenes. They should be shortened, they took up too much time at the beginning of the music part.

If Gaga hadn't directed it, then people would still find it mediocre.

Let's be honest, the video (like the song), loses momentum halfway through with that dance scene.

The video is overlong, pretentious, and silly frankly.

If she kept it to the music parts, and cut out her whining about being dropped by Def Jam, maybe people wouldn't find room to complain so much.

I really didn't like the car scene when I first watched it 'cause I had no clue as to why it was even in the video, but then it clicked when I watched it again. I interpret it that it symbolizes her struggle/fight to the top. The car scene is very chaotic and explosive and it goes in and out of the dance scenes where she's practicing and trying to become the "perfect dancer".

The first thing that was mentioned when the video was released was. "Gaga's directing was horrible." The drop of Def Jam is the story behind this video. Without that interlude this video would not be as dramatic. Let's keep it cute, the video is Gaga's work and it's not changing. If she continues to do this and lose her fanbase then that's her doing. I'm here for the ride.
