Sorry but Bad Romance is the most overrated music video of all time. It's amazing no doubt but Gaga finally topped it with Marry The Night.

I agree. This video would be amazing if it was just the part with the song playing.
If she wanted to go the short film route, she should have done what Kanye did with Runaway and using multiple songs throughout the piece + use the individual clip for MTN's video.
Of course they were, they said that about her Paparazzi VMA performance, too, but the video still caused a cultural stir pretty much immediately.
What I am saying is that Bad Romance was not "well loved" overnight. It may have gotten a lot of attention, but her fans were not up its ass just yet. That came later. Now we embrace Bad Romance as one of her most well loved video because of everything that has happened. It is a lot easier to see that now, but with Marry the Night...I see the fan reception being quite similar.
OMFG! I just got home and... the Marry The Night music video. AMAZING. I'm like speechless. I've watched it 5 times in the row. I love the beginning. The concept of this video is stellar!

I'll give you that. But I don't believe it was all because of its quality, but because Gaga had something new. She proved that she was not going to give up so easily. Now it is like ever since...what can Gaga do next? Dumb herself down?
I liked the video but my expectations were met but not exceeded...I love GAGA but she should have hired a professional director, though I did enjoy her acting and the prelude overall...hopefully she'll learn her lesson, though I don't think she did after seeing the non-impact that TEOG video had on the single.
Actually yes, I think so. Britney's Womanizer was for the sauna scenes, and even though there isn't too much of the bathtub scene in MTN I'm sure haters will flag it.
