I thought I had to share this to my aunt in the Philippines, who is also a aspiring painter. Her parents rejected her, didn't invite her to family reunions, because she wanted to be a painter and her parents wanted her to be a doctor. The video is basically her story, I just sent her the video and I cannot wait to receive her message.
(We basically argued before over Gaga during the TF/TFM era because she said she's "pretentious" art) She got enlightened when she saw Gaga's Grammys Performance.

I appreciate artists who strive to get what they want, but I could never obtain that much drive. I'd probably commit suicide, putting too much pressure on myself has proven to be DEADLY for me.

i feel like it actually is.. she's never done this long of a video and it felt like i was watching a movie when it started.. there were laughs and sad moments in the prelude... the fashion i think was great! (the ballet dress and of course the nurses )

then there was the amazing sets! the apartment! the beginning of when she walks into the studio and al the dancers looking down at her is amazing (i love when the shot when it turns up to the cieling and then the window becomes the moon) and of course the car scene is just epic..

most of all it has a story line. both deep and also a basic one.. all ppl might get is that something with her label hapened and she went crazy but then she picked herself back up... we understand the other stuff like the (abortion?) and (bulimia?) etc..

Fantastic fashion, acting, plot, and sets. I love it. were there mistakes? yes. but it is personally my fav video and YES i do feel like it something totally new

it's not hard at all - she could do it with scheisse, but that's the thing - i had hoped she'd do it with MTN. she easily could've, but chose not to, chose to be the director and do some french indie film tribute instead.

I mean, like, so many factors went into play that made us love BR and those factors are no longer there. One of the main factors being she's no longer new and we expect things like this from her. BR was an exciting time because it was the time when everything changed. Now Gaga is just going with her own flow. She doesn't always have to revolutionize something in order for it to be good.
