Let's just all stay positive...tonight is the Grammy noms concert, and we all know Capitol will make Katy say something about TOTGA. And then we have SNL coming up next Sat. and the remix EP coming Tuesday...let's see what happens next week before we start comparing it to WUIV.

But still, the H100 peak isn't a big deal. What matters is that it gets high airplay and gets people to buy Teenage Dream with their Christmas money

I think Teenage Dream the album sold over double what it sold last week, so we are certainly seeing the effect. I believe last week it was 9,000 and this week it is 19,000.

TOTGA will probably outdo WUIV, but WUIV had a pretty good longevity considering the type of hit it was, and it's 2x platinum, with how many weeks in top 10, like 2? It topped the Pop charts so i guess it had a decent airplay (60-80, or more), you guys act like if it flopped, such an underated single

Well SLY is free falling on radio like 2m+ per day, SH and
MLJ are also falling fast (1-1.8 per day), MLJ performance effect will ware off soon, and maybe NIP one too, Glee might pass it as well, but they will eventually fall, TOTGA just needs to hold on Itunes, and, was not she to perform it today? Or still no answer? Maybe it will peak between 5-7 soon

It sold more because it was Thanksgiving! Every album had increased in the Top 10!

Maybe Capitol was right when they said that they are not caring if it goes to number one (see an article from
Billboard regarding this in September, http://bit.ly/tlPC3i). They said something like "if it goes to number one, that's great. If not, we still have a Katy song in the 4th quarter -- just in time for the biggest shopping time of the year for album sales."
