My Dad told me something similar today, according to him, Rihanna had a "mini meltdown" at one of her concerts and Beyonce told her to take a year off after her tour is finished.



I don't believe that she had a meltdown, but I do believe that Rihanna's schedule next year will be a lot less hectic than the last couple of years have been.

Oh, I forgot about a tour.

Using your 'plan' as a guide, I wouldn't want Rihanna releasing an album until May/June/July 2014.

The next album should be released a bit after the tour, that way the era isn't mashed up, and Rihanna doesn't have to stress about making and releasing an album in the middle of a tour.

Why not 7th album early 2013, Tour for TTT and new album late mid-late 2013-14? With the 8th album coming in late 2014 to mid early 2015. She can do the tour for that when the others lose steam, and the tour will keep her going until 2016 when she releases her 9th album.

Then with a year-2 year breaks in the middle of them, she can finally repeat the Rated R, LOUD and TTT trend and release the 10, 11th and 12th albums in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
