Exactly. I used to think the Grammy's heavy weighed critics' reviews when making their nominations, so nominating an album with a Metacritic score of 52 sort of obliterated that theory.

What makes TD so unworthy? It isn't like it won. In any case, JB has already had a nomination. You make it like TD doesn't present good vocals with songs on the album. In any case, I would't post off-topic again.

The Grammy's have historically, I think, nominated pop albums in which the artist has had significant involvement in the songwriting, composing, and/or producing. I really can't see Loud being nominated. There are too many other viable contenders.

I actually enjoy some Katy songs. 
But none of them are the typical "Grammy material" by any mean.
...Do i actually need to explain myself why TD shouldn't have been nominated for AOTY?

He said it like most people around here say it? Your point? Whether it was portrayed as such, it should be taken as an opinion, because that is what it is.
It gets a little annoying when I see someone trying to argue fact with opinion.
Oh, and that can be proven wrong. Liking or not liking something can't, you tried though.

I still don't understand how an album with a MetaCritic score of 52 got nominated for AOTY. It makes me question the Grammys a bit, I'm not gonna lie. If Loud got nominated for AOTY I'd have the same reaction, cause even if I like it I know it's not "Grammy AOTY" material.

None of them? Firework, what about NLM's? Both show great vocal ability, not to mention the people who decide have much more knowledge than we do on the subject. We should respect it and move on.
No, because that would be off-topic. But it is useless to me otherwise because knowledgeable and experienced people felt it justified, I trust there opinion more than yours.
I'm excited to see what all the pop girls wear too.

I love TD, but anyone who thinks it's Grammy material is crazy. It's perfect for pop radio and scoring #1s, but it's not an album that deserves any sort of acclaimed award.

The Grammys are typically about talent. The songs may show "vocal ability" on the CD, but live, well, Katy falls flat.

No, 4 is critically acclaimed, and being hailed as Bey's best album since DIL.
Born This Way, while being acclaimed, doesn't nearly have the same level of love as 4 as been getting
