No it's selling what it was destined to sell, ADELE is the only current artist with a blockbuster album and this comparison is kinda odd.

Katy is not pulling huge loads (as everyone else sans ADELE) but her album had decent sales.

An album from 2010 is in the top 10 of 2011 between hundreds and hundreds released this year, certified 2x platinum. If you're implying she's a singles artist you fail at that but let's move on before this drags out.

That has more to do with 21's tremendous success rather than TD's lack of. If there were tons of albums that sold that much nowadays I would agree with you, but 21 is doing that successful.

I'm just saying that she's having a tough time selling her album. She's not a total singles artist, but she's a singles-focused artist
