I don't see why you guys don't just simply think:

Is it not possible that they're letting Marry The Night do what it can on its own before attempting to make it rise.


They tried to give YAI everything at once and it underperformed.


I'm assuming they're trying a different strategy to see if it works.

Yes, they do. @Darren as well.

Thats why a lot of radio friendly tracks fall apart if they dont have any sales support. That applies more for lead singles, but yeah.

They don't. Otherwise the radio chart would align with the sales chart, which it doesn't. Radio will play songs that are requested, regardless of whether or not they are doing well on the sales charts.

Which makes sense. The most-purchased song of the week isn't necessarily the most popular song in the country at the time. It's just the song that most people bought. There could be another song that's currently popular that everyone already owns. But just because they own it and aren't buying it again doesn't make it any less popular.
