As I recall, TEOM was the best selling album in America and in the Top 5 internationally for 2005. We Belong Together was the biggest song of '05. DFAU was also No.1, SIO stalled at #2, and It's Like That was her highest charting single since 2001.

Unless R&B/Pop isn't your thing, there is no denying that TEOM is a great album.

Anyway, very interesting and risky single choice. I can't wait to see this take off. that is of course if Pop radio dares to play a "gospel-esque" song. It'll be one of the few pure ballads in the new millenium to be a big hit.

Honestly, FLAB is too risky. It reminds me of BOTHB, and that didn't go so well. But then again, that was the Charmbracelet era. I hope it does well. It's such a beautiful song.

Theres a difreent from a great tune to a great song... WBT, DFAU,SIO, Its like that.... are great tunes (most of them have the same rhythm over and over ....other from a great voice )

now I aint hating cos i have the CD and i listen and sing along to it all the time......

now FLAB is a song to inspire not just voice wise but musically

Along with circle , stay the night.... and few other good songs from the CD

She is performing this song at the Grammys so it most likely is the single! I don't think she expects it to be HUGE! She probably just wants to put it out b/c its one of her favorites and she can create a video for it...

i agree, its a risky move to release this as a single. its funny cause my friend who is not a mariah fan at all or anyway near it loves WBT and DFAU but hates FLAB. so im not sure how FLAB is gonna do, i noticed with the previous singles even non mariah fans are loving the song... well see about this one how the public embraces it.
