How exactly? It's not like Jessie J is a huge star in the US or anything. On iTunes it is pretty stable for such little airplay and it is also gaining on pop radio currently.

nicki's singles tend to always have a bit of longevity but Fly is actually increasing as time progresses. Hopefully the AMA's get it closer to the top 10 Rih better be there to perform it and WFL

I think the video was released too soon ...

Nevermind if the song have top 10 exposure it would fly up the top 5 & stay there for a while for sure, but its gonna be hard ! it definitely need promo now, before it's too late & the song dies on radio ...


OMG @Perry, the song must really appeal to people , it's MUCH higher than Firework or Last Friday before the video release ... (Cali Gurls, Teeange Dream & ET were single, not album tracks)

Price Tag took awhile to gain success in the U.S. and it wasn't like an enormous hit or anything. Similarities can be seen with Tinie Tempah who had a US hit "Written in the Stars" but was never able to get a second hit. Just because an artist establishes one average hit doesn't mean they can continue to materialize smash after smash. This can only be established through many continued hits. I think this song has the potential to reach the Top 30 or 20. It just needs some time to grow on the American public.

It's practically a Katy Perry throwaway.

I don't think people care much about Jessie J to be honest. She is a talented singer, but there's something that keeps her from connecting with the general public outside of the UK.
