Love On Top is my favorite song so I don't mind. Countdown on the other hand, is pulling the strands one by one out of Party's stale weave. You'll see.
Countdown sold more singles than Party. Remember HOT 100 charting is based on sales and airplay. Party has a lot of airplay which is why its so far up. If it was based on sales only then Party wouldn't even be on the chart.

I love "CountDown" its my fave song after "I Was Here" and "Dance For You" but I never thought in a million years that "Party" would be getting more radio spins than "Countdown".

Look at Countdown remaining stable on iTunes without a performance and high airplay...That says alot doesn't it? kii

Party was already loved by Urban and was getting more spins that all the songs that weren't a single when BTINH was released. But I didn't see Countdown getting less spins that Party when Countdown was released. But then again, I thought Bey was going to perform Countdown and Party at the VMAs.

You are forgetting that almost every song from that list got a performance and it's funny that you forget that Sweet Dreams was doing extremely good before Video Phone was released. Every format had Beyoncé's back during the IASF era. She cam off a successful song, of course Video Phone did average without promotion. If it was handled properly, the song could've done much more.

This. Especially when her Facebook account said the "Countdown" to the "Party" begans. I was so ****in hyped. I mean I was counting down the days until the VMAS was to air.
Even though her "Love On Top" performance was amazing and breath taking; I still feel like I was bamboozled.
