It's really hard to predict. LOUD really made people like Rihanna again and after reading some of the commets last night on all of the blogs people were talking about how much the We Found Love video has turned them into a fan and how Rihanna keeps bringing her A-Game and that Talk That Talk will probably be the first album of hers that they purchase. Her opening numbers for each album have grown consistently since her debut and she's at the top of the world right now. I won't be delusional and say 300,000, but she's definitely going to outsell LOUD's first week sales. That is... if the promo is right and her team markets the album correctly this time. Something's telling me that even though she's on tour right now that she will be making a few surprise appearances on the X-Factor and maybe the AMA's.
It's really up in the air considering she's probably not going to promote it, which is crazy to think. I guess they expect Black Friday to make up for that. I really don't care about the #1 debut, though, which won't happen anyway. It's never stopped her thus far.
She is going up against Nickelback, Daughtry, Taylor, OneDirection (UK), Mariana's Trench (Canada - they might beat her), Mary J Blige, and aunty Adele (she will be selling like crazy)

I think her numbers could actually be really healthy if she were able to promote. "We Found Love" is doing great in sales, thanks to the video giving it even more awareness. If they just sit and let this album come out and performed based on the single's success, it won't do as well as it could.
