They HEAVILY focus on the main/pop categories instead of the dance categories. This is possibly worse than "Gimme More" and "3" being submitted for Pop Solo.

I agree about "Hold It Against Me", I had a feeling it'd be ignored though.

It seems there's a new rule about mainstream artists submitting to dance, as Gaga, Rihanna, Britney etc ignored it. I'm not exactly sure how it works though.

Ugh. I'm so annoyed at Britney's submissions. There's gotta be a new rule with the dance categories. She was the clear frontrunner.

I think she will at least get into Pop Album, possibly Album of the Year. It is her against Gaga (who actually has worse submissions, lol) and Gaga's so-so year might help her nab a couple of nominations. Britney has been more successful in Pop in general.

I don't get why We Found Love wasn't submitted. It was produced by a true dance artist and Calvin submitted his own work Feel So Close to the dance recording category. If "In the Dark" and "Beautiful People" were submitted there shouldn't have any restriction for We Found Love as well.

There were several songs that were submitted to the general field but not their genre categories, like "Super Bass." I wonder what the labels were thinking if it was indeed their decisions.

IMHO, Beyonce won't be a factor this year. All of these predictions in the big four are ridiculous. She's made no impact whatsoever, nothing compared to her big "Fierce" era. Britney will get in before she will this time around.

I love Britney but she would be lucky to score at least a nomination in the Pop album category and I don't even see that one happening with all the competition in pop this year.

BNA is a completely different story. We all know Nicki Minaj isn't winning.

Bey isn't the only artist whom I think will be a non-factor this year. I think Taylor and Katy have had their shine already and voters tend to spread the love. The same goes for Lady Antabellum... they won't be a factor.
