as long as this itunes thing doesn't happen all the time, i don't mind him. just don't want him to affect my faves haha :P
Yeah I know, I don't want him to ruin WFL's run since this week is its best chance to go #1 on Hot 100 but I honestly don't think he will affect her much
Teh Navy should be relaxing... JB is not going to hugely alter the digital sales this week. Mistletoe had almost no effect so this song will duly have even less impact.
With regard to numbers, WFL has all but locked up the Hot 100 #1 dated the 3rd of november if today's iTunes performance is anything to go buy.
The airplay for that chart should be around 157mil and 82 mil AI respectively for SLY and WFL. And thats generous for Adele - today she lost 80 spins on pop radio so a freefall seems possible. She may hold though. So that's a 75k difference at max.
In terms of sales, Rihanna is on track for a 250k week. Therefore, to overcome the airplay gap, WFL needs to hold SLY down to 70% all week. However, today SLY has fallen from 69% to 63%. So WFLs rise to #1 seems inevitable. If SLY climbs back above 70% then it may not be so clear cut... but WFL has streaming on it's side (as well as the fact that SLY airplay numbers on mediabase are inflated compared to billboard's official tracking.)
In fact, it seems WFL could have an extended run at the top without much competition. SAIKI has halted on iTunes and certainly hasnt the digital force of PRA.
On a side note... Katys digital power is really so incredible. TOTGA already smashing; when the video drops, Katy is going to shoot into the top 10 for another few months. Get ready.
I really think We Found Love will remain at #1 for the entire November until album release if no competition arise. The only competition i can see approaching in 3 weeks is Katy Perry which is not a bad thing.

Today is only Monday & POC is #11. It probably won't hit #1 but don't count it out.
It won't stay there IF it makes it. WFL would return anyway.
