I was thinking the same thing.
Gaga was always a little weird (even before PF became a big hit she had parodies about being from outer space), but that weirdness made her seem cool, edgy, mysterious (the first scene of the PF video embodies those qualities and is just an unforgettable pop moment). Now that weirdness makes her seem just weird and gross b/c of the choices she made (spikes, Jo, meat, etc).
