She arrived late due to a security issue and so started singing right away. She was AMAZING, and she got really into the entire thing and she stretched "Give Me What I Want" to nearly double it's usual length because she kept repeating the last few bits and stretching each last note for like 30 seconds. x)
During Girlfriend her mic/feedback receiver fell out at the start but she fixed that quickly enough. Unfortunately while she was finishing I'm With You something happened to her voice. It got worse from there onwards as she kept singing. After that everyone left the stage but we all kept yelling for more and then she came back on and said something like:
"Guys, I love you all so much and thank you for everything but this must be the worst day ever. And I wanted to sing 5 more songs for ya'll but I can only do one more, and I'll need your help even for that. So I'm going to sing Complicated for all the fans who have been with me from day one, and sing along."
And we did most the singing for that. She looked like she felt awful about cutting the concert short. She'd keep looking at Jim and shaking her head and she looked very exasperated and frustrated. She held the mike towards us and we sang and she looked pretty happy/teary then. She could barely sing by this point.
And then the song ended and she continued to apologize and she said she loved us again and left. Everyone LOVED the entire show because up until Complicated she forced her way through the setlist and she really was amazing. It felt like a full show, tbh.
She talked about a "security breach" at the start the management said it was a car problem, but probably it was just something to say to the fans at the concert.

I saw Avril last night. She was incredible. Her voice is so pure and she puts on such a great show. It's the best concert I've ever been to by far (sorry Katy Perry and Lady Gaga)
