Somethings telling me she's not getting the #1 album though unless she has some type of huge promotional tool. That's a big week. Ok I'll quit being pessimistic. The Queen can do it.
i like the song it feels like she is not trying too hard or anything. i doubt its the strongest song from her album though..... can't wait to hear the new material and see what direction she has gone
Rihanna just seems to move so quickly and I really don't understand the logic behind some of her most recent decisions. What was the point of even releasing Cheers as a single at all if she was just going to follow it up not even a month later with a brand new song. She should have sat down somewhere and completed her tour while allowing Cheers to peak properly. I don't think it would be as bad if this were a Loud re-release and not the start of a completely new era. The song simply isn't lead single material and it's very European. So it'll definitely be interesting to see how it does on the Hot 100. Although I feel like it'll be a top 10 hit regardless.
Still she has not shown any artistic growth since Rated R and appears to have actually regressed since then. WFL is not something that someone going on their sixth studio album should be making. Period.
