It was the best night of my brilliant life.

I joined the queue at like 2 pm (there were already maybe 25 people there) and waited till like 7, by which time you couldn't see the end of the line. Dx The place was PACKED, it was unbelievable.
The opening act, Lawson, was pretty good. The lead singer mentioned how hot Avril was, and they worked the audience pretty well. After they left we ended up waiting till about 9.30 for Avril, which didn't feel too long because the entire thing started a bit behind time, lol.
Anyways Avril came and worked the crowd and said she was sorry for being late but some **** happened on the way. Her vocals were ON POINT. She actually made Give Me What I Want one of my favourite songs with that show because at the end she just held these notes for about 30 seconds each and the crowd went WILD. And she interacted with us and the band a lot, with smile and looks.
She said that despite the issue we were all still gonna have a good time, and then eventually settled down for the ballads. During I'm With You though she realized something was up with her voice. She made us sing that "I don't know who you are, but I-i-i-i-i" part maybe five times before belting out the rest. She did something new with He Wasn't, and told us to keep putting our hands up and down rather than the scream and shut up thing, though she did that soon after. This was before I'm With You btw, not exactly in order. xD
Anyways then her voice gave way completely and she finished and everyone got off stage. But her fans kept yelling so she came on and talked about how much she loved us and how sorry she was and said she'd sing Complicated for us even though she wanted to sing like 5 more and said it was for everyone who had been with her the last ten years. And she could barely croak through it all so we sang most of it and she looked REALLY sad. And she kept shooting looks at Jim and shaking her head but it was clear that there was nothing she could do because it looked like it was impossible for her to sing. Anyways Complicated ended and she thanked us again and said she loved us and everyone went CRAZY. It felt like a full set list tbh, she was flawless up until the end.

I'm so in love.
Plus during WTH or Smile she came over to the corner at the front where I was standing and looked me straight in the eye.

It was magical.
Also the merchandise is AMAZING.
EDIT: Oh and she dedicated Smile to all the "crazy bitches" in the audience and the guys started screaming like she had just called out their names.

Best crowd ever.
