Oh wow. I always wondered why Irreplaceable and BOBD were only nominated in ROTY and not their respective genres. Thanks for that info. This rule seems a bit bizarre as to ONLY apply to albums that win in their respective categories. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind barring album winners but not album nominees?
Also, I agree with the whole Halo (Live) thing. If I ever saw a live performance that deserved to win ROTY or Pop Solo, it would be Adele singing SLY.
