I understand that, but sadly things like this happens.
Don't feel bad. We know how you really want to post some results/updates on time and that's great of you. But like I said, things like this happens.
A top member is willing to wait for the results. In short, a top member is patient.

Oh my... Let me get my judging in before I'm late. I know I procrastinate but I'm NEVER late! Mostly, unless it's my game I'm hosting

The results aren't all in, yet. Lol. We're waiting on TWO people.

I'm in school now too, very busy semester (since it's my last). I'm trying this new thing called not procrastinating (as much). Might make this semester go by more smoothly.

Cycle 6
*TYRA MOMENT*
I'm not going to check to ensure that all of you read this, but I'd appreciate if you could do so out of respect for both myself as well as your fellow contestants and judges.
As you know, in this past round I gave a deadline for getting the rankings in. As 2-3 days is usually the amount of time given for challenges, I felt 2 days for rankings would be plenty. Sadly, that was not the case, as nearly everyone waited until the last minute, while some, still, missed the deadline entirely (and I'm still waiting...).
In order to keep things running smoothly, and to be fair, I will continue to give a deadline of 48 hours to get your rankings in (after the entries have been posted or sent out), and whoever does NOT get rankings and/or comments (if you're a judge) in by the deadline will NOT have their votes counted. I don't like resorting to this, but I need to ensure this game continues to run efficiently, and that the contestants receive the results in a reasonable amount of time.
I understand we all have lives outside of ATRL, but in all honesty this competition takes more time for me to manage than it does for nearly anyone else (contestant or judge) to participate. I am currently in my final semester at the university I attend, and I definitely have a lot of work to do, but I budget my time accordingly, and if I'm unable to stick to schedule I always do my utmost best to keep you updated. I ask that all of you start to do the same.
If there's a problem and you won't be able to get your rankings in by the deadline, try to let me know BEFORE the deadline passes, and I'll see what I can do to work with you. Also, judges, if you're pressed for time you can just send rankings without comments. I'd prefer that you give the contestants comments so they can improve in the competition, but if you are unable to, sending in only rankings is better than nothing at all.
Now can we all resolve to be better about letting procrastination get the best of us? Can we all work together as a TEAM to keep this competition running the way it's supposed to? I'd really appreciate it, and it would make it easier on everybody. We're getting closer and closer to the finale all the time, and I do not want to see things fall apart when we're already almost there!

I guess it helped that I was able to establish a routine before the semester officially began, but now that it has, and also leading up to it, I've had a lot of stuff to do.

Edit: My router was having trouble connecting, but the problem is solved. The results are being typed up now.

I don't know if I can handle something like this when I start college. As for what I see, it's a lot of work.

Okay, it has now come time for us to make our TOP 5 a TOP 4! We're incredibly close to the finale (just two more challenges until then), so each elimination is going to be that much more difficult. Before we get to the juicy part, let me refresh your memory with what happened in Round 6 through the use of MATTY'S LEGENDARY CALLOUT CHARTS! Now that we've had several rounds, it's nice to see how everyone has been performing.
*This person received top call out*
*This person was eliminated*
*This person quit*
*This person returned*
*This person was banned*
*This person was dropped from the competition*
*This person received immunity*
**Note: Those with a * beside their name were not ranked so they are not in the position of how they did
As you've already seen the entries (http://atrl.net/?p=6697109), I will jump right into the judges' comments, then I will list your scores and top 3 contestants, then I'll move on to the elimination. Overall, I have to say I was quite pleased with the entries. A few of you really rose to the challenge, despite being limited to Adele. I was incredibly impressed and thus far, I'd say this has been one of my favorite challenges to see each of you complete. Here we go with your comments (you are listed in order of when you turned in your entry)!
NO ONE WAS READING THIS PART APPARENTLY, SO THIS IS MY WAY OF MAKING IT STAND OUT
Additionally, for this round, the usual mystery judge is on vacation, so there is a new mystery judge in his/her place. This will likely last through the next round, and this new mystery judge is quite hard to please, and will tell you how they see it!

ʝimmy Tɑɳcrɛɗi: A song full of soul that doesn't rely on hype to be successful. She has shown that all you actually need is a voice and a good song filled with emotion and class. It's exactly what you said and you've shown it in a good way.
Mystery Judge: - I love the song you choose. Not jumping out my seat for the specific lyrics you chose, because there's so much more to the song and you chose a line that absolutely doesn't do it for me. But whatever works for you bitch.
- First of all your grammar is off in the first sentence. THE FIRST SENTENCE. Get it together!! Sloppy. If I was ever suppose to judge you based off the first sentence alone I wouldn't bother to read it because i would have thought two monkeys wrote it but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and slave myself to finish.
- You're write up overall was cute, not striking and never touched me like the song did.
- I loved your presentation though.
ExtraChapstick: For me, the animation of your song title and chosen lyric was the cherry on top to a great entry. While there were some minor typos and grammatical errors in your explanation, I loved the association with putting faith and confidence in yourself. As Matty pointed out, you have proven yourself time and time again in this competition. You could win it all if you keep it up!

ʝimmy Tɑɳcrɛɗi: This is usually a serious contender for teenagers cause it's what mostly happens in this relationships.Sometimes we just don't give some value and then it vanishes from us. I think you could have added more things instead of being like a stick to that point of view.
Mystery Judge: - - OK .. so Family Guy huh?. Listen you can't just drop a random line and NOT tell us the situation of what went down with you and your family. I can honestly say I can emote to what you wrote but what you wrote was band, basic, boring and a big fat BOO. Your color combo is a mess and the pic of Adele you chose was not flattering at all. Plus I hate 'Lovesong'
ExtraChapstick: I love the sentiment in your entry as well as the bold color choice. I also appreciated the vulnerability of the pic you chose. I only wish you'd have been a little more clear on the song you were referring to within the text. Yes, we know you were talking about "Lovesong," but if someone were only reading the description, they wouldn't easily be able to identify the song.

ʝimmy Tɑɳcrɛɗi: Really enjoyed reading yours. The song speaks through lyrics, and what it seems to be said in most of her songs is that she's done with the changes undergone. it's hard to fight emotions when you, yourself, conflict with them, but one thing everyone needs to know is that everyone is special in their own way, and no one can break that, nor can they break them.
Mystery Judge: - Well bitch, I must say your layout was striking. I was instantly interested to read your writeup and I loved that you used a better line than ms Mitchie 22.
- And your story was so captivating, so full of life, so blissfully and wonderfully written. BRAAVO! You got me hooked. It was relatable and definitely hit hard. I loved every bit of it.. but Im kinda skeptical about this "girl".
ExtraChapstick: I LOVE the delivery. It's simple yet elegant, easy to read, and your pic looked like it could be an official single cover. My only criticism is that the song lyrics were difficult to read against the background. The red worked for Adele's name because it was bigger and bolder, but for a smaller font another color may have been more effective. What I'm most impressed by is that you finally showcased your design prowess that I've been waiting for you to show more of. Additionally, you made yourself vulnerable in your text portion, which is very endearing.

ʝimmy Tɑɳcrɛɗi: Sometimes when the rumors aren't handled that's what mostly happens. I liked what you said and the explanation you gave it. I think you could have developed a little more.
Mystery Judge: - Deuces to this post. U expect me to read this??!! Black picture with Black font?? My cataracts are acting up. Ughh take a page fro your fellow Beysic stan book Hi.Def and get a blue font. I loved the line you chose tho. But in your explanation i couldn't help but think that the reason you were mad at the girl was because you were mad that you couldn't get the dick? Did I strike a nerve?
Well thats what I gathered from the rumor mill.
ExtraChapstick: I like the picture you chose. It's playful, but as you pointed out, the delivery was messy and seemed rushed. Also, your text wasn't very easy to read. the extra pic of Adele in the background wasn't necessary, and I feel like the text portion ended abruptly without much closure. Ultimately, your entry, for me, was just ok. Angelo, the creator of this competition named you as his guess for the eventual winner, though, so perhaps you still have plenty to show us if you make it to the next round!

Trust me I love the Selena shout out (you got a little something something extra for that lol) but this challenge was about Adele and what lyric from one of her song spoke out to you. You explained why but for someone like me, the other artists song titles just killed it for me.
ʝimmy Tɑɳcrɛɗi: I liked the description you were giving through all of the text. Many people go through this kind of situations all the time madly in love without knowing what to do.
Mystery Judge: Bitch Bye with that red and black cookie. I am not eating that Bon Qui Qui. Bye.
ExtraChapstick: The first part of your entry looks incredibly classy, but the second part left me wanting more visually. The text was EXTREMELY difficult to read, which I think you knew might be an issue when you submitted it. In the description itself, you set up such beautiful imagery with the 1960s bar scene, but then shattered the dream by including song references to so many different songs (as Matty also pointed out). Their inclusion came off as cheesy and took away from the theme of the challenge: Adele. Sorry.

With that out of the way, it's time to announce your top 3! You already know what we thought of your entries, so there will be no additional comments given at this point. Here are your TOP 3!

Points: 42 |
2. Nait Phoenix
Points: 39 |
3. IAmCannibal
Points: 33 |
Congratulations mitchie! You have ONCE AGAIN received the TOP CALLOUT! The other contestants might want to start taking a page from your book if they wish to beat you. Right now, you are the clear frontrunner.
So, that leaves us with our bottom 2:
While neither of you received a large amount of points from the judges' or your fellow contestants' rankings, one of you did ultimately receive less points than the other. The person who will remain in the competition, and who is still in the running to becoming ATRL's Next Top Member is:
4. Deuces
Points: 21 |
Unfortunately, that means quiqui4eva, you will be leaving us and must pack your bags and leave the Top Member house immediately! You had a great run in the competition, but every journey has an end. Congratulations on making it to the TOP 5!
To the TOP 4, I feel with how hard you've been working on these past few challenges it's time for a break! You have tomorrow off! Look for the next challenge on Thursday FRIDAY, September 2nd, at noon (Pacific Standard Time). Until then, enjoy your free time!

I kinda knew I was going home because I just thought of a way after I submitted it how I can make it more clearer
I didn't realize the other songs were such a problem, I thought that would be creativity, but this is about Adele, so yeah.
Anyway, thanks for this opportunity. I'll most likely be back next time around. Good luck to the rest of the contestants!
P.S. Who is the Mystery Judge? TheGeoKing? Remeese? Lipton? Angelo? clairbear23? All the Bey stans? I wanna know

I'm glad that once again, I received the top callout!
Thank you judges for all your comments, though the mystery judge seems to hate me. No, seriously, he's/she's been harsh to me since last round. But, I love his/her honesty! It only makes me feel that I should really do my best to amaze everyone (especially him/her --- though I haven't really impressed him yet).
And good luck to us!

This is a different mystery judge from last round, as I noted in the results post. The regular mystery judge is currently on vacation, and this one is A LOT more outspoken, lol. I did point out to him/her that English is not your first language (that's correct, right?), and they agreed to lighten up a little next time, but truth be told, he/she was still impressed with your entry compared to some of the others. :]

You'll find out at the end of the competition, lol, but there are actually TWO mystery judges, because the other is currently on vacation. For this most recent round and the next round, this new mystery judge will be evaluating the entries.
