I don;t know how I feel about this video. I absolutely adore about half of the scenes, tolerate/like about 3/4 or less of them and then despise the other 1/4.
OMG the video is incredible. one of my favourites from her ever. the parts with jo are some of the best scenes and the whole cornfield part is amazing. the video is amazing and OMMGGGG there gonna talk about it now on the morning show on tv. yes, get that promo gaga!
the storyline is slightly confusing for me but thats what i like. better than TEOG where you didnt have to think much lol.

Maybe he's looking for "the cohesion" in the video, but the star power of Gaga works quite well as "the cohesion" to the fans (and hopefully to general public).

The video is all over the place. They could have gotten rid of a couple of scenes and given us more cinematic dance scenes and it would have been better.

i think perhaps its supposed to be a little over the place. its portraying the different sides of gaga which are all rolled into one. that just my opinion of course and i dont find it a problem
We haven't quite figured out exactly what's going on in it yet but Lady Gaga's 'You & I' video, which has appeared online this evening a few days ahead of its intended debut, has exceeded expectations almost as much as the 'Edge Of Glory' video failed to meet them, and makes us just as happy as 'The Edge Of Glory' made us sad.
The best bit? Running across the screen at 5:15. But there are lots of good bits. LOTS of good bits. Almost two videos' worth of good bits. She looks hot as a woman, hot as a man, hot as a fish. She's even found a way to pull off a full-on dance routine to a ballad*.
It's nice when she's on top of things, isn't it. It's a bit like when you walk along the Thames and the tide is in and it feels like London is safe.
