Pink (the ****in' Perfect video was great), Rihanna, j.Lo totally shut out, Gaga and Britney only with 1 major nom each.

Also, only 8 categories? May memory might be playing tricks with me but before there were surely more? There used to be Group Video, Dance Video, the MTV Vanguard Award...

Anyway, the Video of the Year nominees should have been:

"Rolling in the Deep" - Adele
"Make Some Noise" - Beastie Boys
"Man Down" - Rihanna
"Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" - Katy Perry (it's a CRIME this was not nominated for VotY)
"Born This Way" - Lady Gaga

I mean, Grenade? Wtf, MTV? That video was a total non-event.

I hope Adele wins everything (hopefully this means she will attend/perform as well).
