Yes but no other celebrity is pushed onto the community as if they are our saving grace and doing so much for us.
Other celebs don't actively try to be an icon for the gay community; a lot of gays are just naturally attracted to them because of their music, style, whatever.
The gays who don't like Gaga don't want her being seen as a representation of us. She, by herself, her team, and mostly her fans, almost forces herself into the gay community. A lot of gays, and straights in the general public act like she's the voice of all the queers of the world, when in reality, she isn't. I personally think it's great that she supports the gays, but I think she uses us far more than she needs to to up her star power, gain controversy, and attention.
Don't me mad because some of us see through the antics.
