You act that way because you feel different simply for being gay. We are NOT different. And we will truly accomplish greater things once the fems stop acting different from straight society.
I am not a scared little masc, I am openly gay to everyone which brings me to your 5th point: I've done PLENTY for the gay community. I've showed people that being gay is neither different nor bad. I've teached people that you can have a blast with gay friends: go to a football game, hit the bars, make jokes, play games, have meaningful cinversations. What are you fems doing? Secluding yourselves in your little so called community and further segregating yourselves? Talking about meaningless crap like fashion and gossip? Proving that we are indeed loud, annoying, and promiscuous at gay parades?
I think we are doing far more than you, if you ask me
|
So, is being gay altogether a "learned" behavior as well?
And in fact, you've done nothing to help if you keep hating on people who actually do act different than you. Don't be so ****ing bigoted.

Its not about pretending to be someone else. Its about having a little respect for yourself and then the others will respect you too. And dont tell me being fem is who you are. Being shy or jolly or angry or bold IS who you are, being a fem is not.

Well good, I am glad you are doing all of that...I have said MULTIPLE times in this thread that it is just important for the more masc gays to live out and proud and show all the different ways that a gay can act and be. I don't want gays to be just femme, but unlike you, I don't want gays to be just masc either. Gender bending is a part of gay culture whether you want it to be or not, and there is nothing wrong with it. It is a contribution to culture that I am proud of.
And at the age of 3 and 4 I used to play dress-up in dresses and play with dolls and relate to the female cartoon characters etc...I have ALWAYS been more feminine. What I had to learn is my masculine side, because that didn't come as natural as feminine. You don't know me, and you don't have the right to say that I was not born feminine. Gender roles and acts are social constructs, not the other way around.
Also you continue to show your ignorance. I am feminine and have a ton of straight MALE friends. They all love my personality. i am not segregating myself, and neither do any of the gays I know. And could you sound any less intelligent implying that because I act feminine, the only things I can talk about are fashion/gossip/catty things? From what I can tell, you are one of the least intelligent people on this forum, so don't get condescending with me. If someone is annoying, it is because they are annoying, not because they are feminine. If they are ****s, it is because they are ****s, not because they are feminine. People aren't one-dimensional, but bigoted people like you have trouble understanding that.

Being gay clearly is not learned. The stereotype is what's learned.

Aw, that's rough boo. I definitely understand distancing yourself in that aspect. Personal safety comes first.

I may get mocked for even being here when I say this, but I'm 13. I came out in May of last year as bisexual, and I would say I am pretty feminine though.. I'm open about it to pretty much everyone except family. I've gotten death threats at school. I'm getting used to it. I ended up getting into a fight with someone because of it all, and my arm got injured during it. Doesn't make me stop being feminine, or bisexual. X__x

Eh. That irks me how people think that everyones a fem gay or just gay period because of their voice. (this is not directed towards you though,)
I have a straight friend who's voice is very high pitch, it's not mature and it has no bass. He has no control of it. But of course people who don't know him question his sexuality or judge him.

People in the world are who they are. Just because someone acts like something YOU think is wrong doesn't mean it's learned. You sound no different than those people who say it's a choice to be gay. Accept the fem gays, cuz they're sure as Hell not going away.

But again, that is like attacking any race or group for acting like a stereotype. The point is it is FUN to be femme and loud and all that goes with that. I've never had more fun than when I gave up on all of my macho posturing and just let loose with my gay self. I am happy with myself now and I don't have to try to appease the straight people in my life. Luckily, I picked well enough that me opening up and liking myself more basically made everyone else like me more too. I am closer with my friends and family AFTER letting myself be more femme

I have that problem. That's why I don't like talking much. I try and make my voice deeper all the time unless I'm around people I'm comfortable with.
