I'm really getting into You and I lately 
My most played song in the past few days. She better deliver one epic video so the song doesn't die like BTW and TEOG did

No, they would have to. It doesn't mean anything in English, but it's still "****" in German and a huge percentage of Americans are German and know German. Remember when people shat themselves over "If You Seek Amy"? Yeah, this would brew up a **** storm, too. I would hate for her to put out such an amazing song, only for it to get censored and banned. :/

Oddly enough, I heard BTW played three times today on the fourth biggest station in the country.

As far as foreign words that Americans know the meaning of, "scheisse" isn't anywhere near the top of the list.
And "If U Seek Amy" was still played uncensored.

I actually meant for myself 
The Edge Of Glory and BTW have decent longevity in radio/iTunes compared to Judas (which had the best video  )
But yet, I was listening non stop to those 2 songs before their videos premiered and less than a week after the premiere, it was over for me 
(Yeah, I was lying to myself for TEOG, the video isn't good at all lol)

That's not the point, lol. The point is that nearly 20% of Americans are German American and the people who choose to censor **** are incredibly pissy and sensitive.
They did censor IFSA. They played it like this, "all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you SEE Amy."
I wouldn't have a problem with them censoring the song, but the word "scheisse" gives the song meaning.

Me too! it become one of my 3 favourite songs of BTW album, after TEOG and Born This Way. I' dont understand why a lot of people think "You & i" will flop. In my opinion, its a memorable song. This song its better than a lot of awful songs in the radio right now. Trust me, the sucess "You and I" will be unexpected.

Even though I was a little bit tired to hear the live version, the album version is really good. I like the instrumental and the clapping and the background "somethinggg". There are good moments to the song definitely.

The word "scheisse" on the song goes by so fast that I don't think people wouldn't even notice so I don't think it will be such a big deal. They should however rename the song, though. "I Don't Speak German" >>>

Absolutely  . this song has some epic moments. The beggining, the end, when she start to scream, when the music stops and she talks... I LOVE "YOU AND I" SO MUCH!!

Honestly, if "You and I" is the 4th single, i will be the most happy person on earth  . I can imagine a lot of legends of music loving this song.

They did that to IFSA sometimes, but I heard it uncensored too.
And being German American has almost nothing to do with knowing the language, it's not a case of many people being second generation (e.g., Hispanics) who still know the language, it's so far removed. I'm part German and barely know any of it.
