I agree, it is still way too early to count to TEOG out. People pretty much did the same thing to OTF, when it reached #5 early in its Hot 100 run, and then fell. Although OTF did not reach its peak in weeks 6-10 of its Hot 100 run, it performed much more consistently in its second 5 weeks (8-9-8-7-7), than it did during its first five (9-5-5-13-10). Then, in weeks 11-15 of its Hot 100 run, OTF finally put together a new peak and consistency (3-6-5-4-5).
Looking at its Hot 100 run to date, TEOG appears to be doing the same thing as OTF. Personally, I don't think it has peaked yet. I really think that TEOG will reach its true peak somewhere in the week 11-15 range, which would be in 3-7 weeks.
I'm ready for TEOG's return to Top 5 !!!!
I personally don't think it nor PRA deserves #1 but both r great party tunes. 
I did like that Rockwell song with Michael Jackson on the chorus.
