The My December project had Don't Waste Your Time ready to go - they even had a video. It is also the most pop song from the record and would have been nice before One Minute or How I Feel. Sober does not fit radio - despite the Gem it is. However I think it did help shift albums when she performed the song through promo.

Yeah they waited way too long to release AIEW as a single. I would have loved for If I Can't Have You to have been the second single. It was a different genre for Kelly. But I'm not too upset because it gave us the I Do Not Hook Up video and I thought it was funny and knowing how awkward Kelly must have felt makes it even funnier for some reason, lol.
I'm still upset that we never got a video for Sober. My favorite KC song! I remember she said she had the video concept already but it never happened
I love that fans request that so often, she included it on the AIEW tour. The way she changed it up live makes it even better! ::swoons::
I bet it's single #2.
