If that is how they want to do it, that's exactly how it will work out.

After TFM's success, Usher did the same exact thing with re-releasing Raymond v. Raymond and the "Versus" EP.

That one kinda flopped though.

OMG I really really want Rihanna to release a LOUD EP now! All this EP/deluxe edition/rih-release talk is making me so excited!

Do you guys think that "Straight Up Beautiful", the song that was so close to making LOUD but didn't, will make it onto the re-release/EP?

Well, I am only here for the EP release if her label handles it well. The reason GaGa's did so well was because of two reasons:

1) She jam packed it with songs that could have easily constituted their own album (in other words, they were not rejects from previous recording sessions: she legitimately wanted them released for her fans and, thus, they were stellar.)

2) Her label treated it like an album. They released 3 songs off of an 8 track album. That's more than some albums from singers like Demi and Selena get. They also promoted it like they should.

It counted as 1 album internationally but, not in the US. The US considers BTW her 3rd album.

I like reason 1, but wouldn't "rejects" make more sense just because they would tie into the original album better? I will say, GaGa had a very good idea with "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster" being 'seperate' items of work, but they still tied in with the highlights and lowlights of fame.

I am scared of reason 2 though... its no secret that Def Jam don't really focus on the promotion side of things... lets hope that they can handle an EP.

And I would also like to say, even though this has nothing to do what we are talking about, I like how you aren't a delusional monster. You actually pay attention to other artists.

Yes! I can't wait to get more music from Rihanna. And with the news that Katy Perry isn't working on anything until December (due to her tour), the Katy collab will probs end up on the Loud rih-release, so if that gets released as the lead single, we have our smash.
