Like, give us a reason - is she going to be strong, embrace the night and stop crying over some guy who wronged her? I know it sounds a little corny (though FAR less corny than some of the material on BTW), but from I Will Survive to Believe to RITD, anthems about women who are strong and survive being wronged by men really resonate. She could have done this in the verses, instead of singing about lacing up her boots and things that I can't even understand or make out.
That, and if it had been shorter (especially towards the end) would have really helped it smash.
