I thought for sure TEoG would be GaGa's biggest hit of this era by a mile. But looks like BTW will remain her biggest hit.
We shouldn't underestimate the power of a good music video because most music videos can either help make or break a song and unfortunately for TEOG the latter happened.
I don't get why her fans want MTN to be a single so badly. It sounds almost like TEOG but more upbeat, and more annoying. Actually, it gets so annoying at the end that I just want to delete the song.
Scheiße is the best song on the album and should be next video, but I'm afraid it might flop. That would make it seem less epic.

I can't. It could've been the Poker Face and Bad Romance of the era...

I don't think it put a damper on the song's success. The song is still holding up decently, but it didn't give it a boost like many people thought it would. It looks like it has peaked. TBH, if "Judas" failed and TEoG didn't outperform BTW, then I don't think there are many smashes on this album. I think "Marry The Night" could be a decent sized hit, though.

They need to cut the last part if they want it to get played on radio stations
US is the only place where promo is not THAT important
Sure, but I've noticed it has most effect in the UK. When you promote there, 5 minutes later and then your songs start increasing fast on iTunes. Crazy.
RudeBoy said it perfectly, "Marry The Night" sounds like "The Edge of Glory" that's why I don't want it as the next single. She should release "****", but that needs a radio edit and a name change (Her OWN fans don't know how to do that b ).

I know it sucks because both follow up singles were great songs. Judas was rushed and TEOG could've had a great boost with the proper MV Idk I like hair *shrugs* Some say it's too much like BTW but I really like it.
