I truly fell in love with Gaga when she performed at the 2009 VMA's. She started ****ing bleeding on stage....who the **** else? Her previous work was great don't get me wrong, but there was nothing special about it (save the Paparazzi video). It was nice and I was a fan but she was just another Rihanna or Katy. She was just a basic bitch. Then she started really wierding it up and I fell in love. Her wierdness is what sets her apart from other pop girls and is the reason that when she arrives at a red carpet, everyone is 10x more in awe of her presence than ANY other star there. It's the reason she's number one on Forbes. It's the reason she has more stans on this site than any other girl.
In SOME of her previous videos (Alejandro, Born This Way) she took the wierdness a little too far, but it's still what I thrive off aas a Gaga stan!!
And this video had nothing of the sort. Hell, it didn't even have ultiple scenes. The whole damn thing was taped on the same backdrop. I can't.
Some here and last.fm, the comments from some fans have been "people always expect outrageous", those types of excuses, etc. I can clearly see many are also disliking it, rightfully so.
